We are excited to announce that the P.S. 165 PTA are now participating in the Fairway Community Partners program.

http://www.fairwaymarket.com/community-partners/We can provide each P.S. 165 family and staff member with a card to have scanned when they pay for their groceries. Fairway will donate 3% of each transaction (less tax, alcohol and delivery charges) to our PTA. The cards can be used in any Fairway location (but only in-store). There is no additional cost to the shopper, and no personal information will be shared with Fairway or the PTA.

Because there are no retroactive credits, you must remember to have the cashier scan your card BEFORE you pay.

If you are, or would like to become, a frequent shopper at Fairway, please contact Parent Coordinator Eva Beltran (ebeltran@robertesimon.org) or come to any PTA Event and pick up a Fairway Card.

Book Culture and Book Culture Kids are two local, neighborhood book stores close to PS 165 filled with new and classic fiction and nonfiction, mysteries, cookbooks, graphic novels, and more.

Downstairs is the Children’s Reading Room, a whimsical space filled with books, toys, games, puzzles, art supplies and plush toys. It is a fun and cozy place to curl up with a book or meet other families.
When you shop at Book Culture, use code “GB-PS165” at checkout (in-store or online) and the PTA will receive 15% of the total sale!

Those 10¢ coupons you find on the sides of packages can add up to real money for our school! Clip the coupons out of the product package and drop them off with our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Beltran.

There are no costs involved…it actually pays the organization to belong! If you are already a TD Bank customer, visit any location and ask to have your balances included as part of the Friends of PS 165 Inc account. Mention CODE: AG813

When a project reaches its funding goal, we ship the materials to the school. You’ll get photos of the project taking place, a letter from the teacher, and insight into how every dollar was spent. Give over $50 and you’ll also receive hand-written thank-yous from the students.
